I always complain about not having enough fun stuff to do, but then I remembered I still have a band waiting to be formed: BRAIN FUNGUS!!
Why the moldy brains, you ask? Well, it all started with one of my intelligent outbursts in a convo I had a couple of years ago in high school, after Dutch literature class...
Lisa: blabla Bernlef blabla Hersenschimmen
Myself: Hersenschimmel?
Suus: BAHAHAHA BRAIN FUNGUS
Hersenschimmen actually turned out to be one of my favorite books, but that's beside the point. Brain Fungus.....it stuck. We love the brains, and the fungus... yeah well that's just fitting.
Most of the to-be members of the band are musically inept. But what kind of idiot expects sweet symphonic sounds from a band which name suggests mental defects anyway.

i've been stuck in a creative rut for much too long, so today i decided to do someting quick, easy and fun: ballpoint portraits! instant gratification. well, for me at least.
(my scanner seems to have softened the lines a bit...)
 i will be using this method of shading more often. |
